I got one!
So today a picked up a Genco "Lincoln" and a Illinois Razor Strop Co. strop which both need a little work. The strop is not really nicked or split anywhere, but needs attention. It's a two piece wih a canvas strip in the back. The razor has "classified" stamped on the rear face of the monkeytail. The blade seems to be very hollow, and if you draw your fingers (thumb and index( from the spine to the edge, you feel a bit of a swell a bit before the edge... It is uniform, and I can only assume that it was made as such. I will have photos up soon. He wanted 35 for the razor and 20 for the strop. I traded him a set of mid 70's blade Walter Hagen golf clubs and a broken record player. Both of which I was going to take to the street on trash day this week!

Nice. Genco's are great razors, and the "swell" you're referring to is also called a "belly" - they are quite normal on full hollows.

It has a bit of pitting on the spine, and some blemishes here and there on the blade. He had a few that were in slightly better shape, but were not of the same quality as far as I could tell. I am pretty jazzed about cleaning it up and getting in honed. I need to do a bit of research as to how I need to approach working on this strop, but I am sure that it can be brought back to life.
Any info on the Lincoln model Genco? I have seen a few different ones on the database, but no Linoclns, and none with classified on the monkeytail.
