Why are Filly's so expensive?

Well, they are good razors. They've been talked up a lot, on here and elsewhere. The there's the whole "I want a NOS razor" + "I want a big razor" (tends to be the 14's that go insane) and, probably, "I want some of that magical, non-German/Sheffield/American steel."
IMO, it's just hype of one sort or another.

Thanked: 13247They, like many other brands are Consistent...this is actually the mark of a great brand and a great razor... You will find certain razors that are really good but another razor by the same maker might only be so-so, a great brand has consistently good shavers...
There are certain brands of razors that are always great shavers unless the blade has been damaged in some way...
Filarmonica's are one of those brands..or at least they were..

Now, what about these fake Filly's guys be warning us about? Which ones are good or bad? Seems like the raised logo Filly's are nice no. 14? ???????
