Use your belt to strop and lots of hot water... You'll be just fine.

As an ex Brooklynite to hear someone say Ray's pizza haha that place is garbage compared to DeFarro's on Ave J and 15th. It is the best, hands down, just ask the people waiting on line outside, the guy is straight from Naples, and has been doing it by hand for 60 years himself. Try it, if you don't believe me, it's outstanding makes you hate all other pizza. I really cant eat other pizza now, I have make it a monthly trip back just for the pizza and fresh basil........mmmm...mmmm

As far as a good barber you can do Truman's in NYC that's a good place, plus free beer whilst you get shaved. I cant recommend a place in Brooklyn, as I didnt trust any of those crazy Russians in Cooney Island or Sheepshead bay to shave me.
