Thanked: 31so it happened.......
dropped a razor and broke the scales down by the pivot pin the good news is the blade is fine since it was closed and had a rubber band around it. so im lucky there.....just thought i would share that moment of bad luck with the rest of the world

Bummer! Sorry to hear about that!
Are you going to make new scales for it yourself or send it out? Check out The Invisible Edge and SRD as well, as they both sell ready made scale kits so if you like what they have it'll save you some work..!
Good luck!

It may be in poor taste to ask for pictures of the fallen wounded, but if you don't mind....
At least the blade is ok, now you have the chance to either build some, or treat yourself to a restoration from one of the fellas.

Thanked: 31yea im gonna have to get hold of Ray he makes some really nice scales. i have gotten some that he has restored and they look good!
what i really hate the most is that it was vintage i could care less about a new one that is still in production
