Default Check out this Joseph Allen & Sons I just bought

Trying to attach a picture is kind of a test for me, so bear with me if the image doesn't come out. I just picked this razor up for a lowsy $9.99. I can't believe I got it for this price. I can't wait to get it, clean it up and shave with it. It looks like it may have been re-scaled but still is awesome for the price!

I'd see if it will hone well before you put too much time into cleaning it up. It's hard to tell from the photo, but if there is edge pitting you may have problems.

I've bought razors in much worse shape than this one that I've been able to save. On this one, I think honing will be at a minimal that only a few strokes on the 220 will be required to get rid of any possible edge pitting. Besides, for only $9.99, it will still add a nice show piece to my collection...even if it's beyond use. I'm an extreme buff for vintage razors and am into woodworking and making display cases, so it doesn't matter either way.
