Tosuke razor question
So I just had to buy this razor when it came up for sale on eBay, as I really, really like using them and it looked like no one was bidding very much for it.
Problem is that I'm not sure about what the kanji says and, what's more, I've never seen a Tosuke like this with gold lettering. Anyone here have any info on this one? Old_School or Jim R?!?
Thanks, and I appreciate the help in advance!! Hope everyone is having a great beginning of the year.

Thanked: 326Could be wrong but looks like 6733's ad. Most of his razors mention "used Japanese handmade razor, Tamahagane" be cautioned it is not.
Kanji for Tamahagane is 玉鋼
Kanji for Inoue Tosuke is 井上籘助

Old_School and SiRed8, thanks, I knew I could count on some help with this. When I get the razor, I will let you know how it shaves.
One other question too -- it looks like the blue rubber grip on this one is kind of worn down. Do you know where to get new grips for these razors? Thanks.

Thank you again, Old School!
For the record, the seller for this razor is ergyu2, and I don't think he's trying to mislead anyone. I will look at the razor closely when I get it, and if it doesn't look like what I'm looking for, then I will ask for a refund.
Here's another picture of the razor, by the way. I agree that the rubber handles do seem to break down over time, but I'm stumped for what to use in their place. I know that some have tried waxed cord or other types of wrapped handles, but I have a hard time with putting these on the razor myself. What do you like for your kamisori?

Why don't you try to shave with bare handle? You might like end up liking it mate.

I have a saw with label that says kobayashi-ri. The mei on the saw and kanji on the label do not appear to match anything on the razor.
I dont know if they are related, whether it is a store or brand name or artist's name i am not sure.
