I don't know anything about that razor - but the seller makes me suspicious with a listing selling a $12.00 styptic pencil you can get most anywhere for $2.00. CLUBMAN STYPTIC PEN FREE DELIVERY, CHRISTMAS GIFT - eBay (item 320460247896 end time Feb-06-10 17:19:45 PST)
Poorly worded, unusual terms and descriptions of the items. I would avoid that one based solely on the seller at this point. It is highly doubtful any real bargains here.
My .02 cents.

I'm gonna put it out there that this DOES look like a solingen blade, probably a Dovo contract or something. What I'm wondering is, is it a cheap, no frills razor for a barber (not a user/collector) as it seems to be in the catalogue, or is it a Dovo second/with poor QC?

the funny thing is, "Nippes" in german (or an accent spoken in Hessen) often means:
trash, or useless stuff
I really donnu about the quality, though ^^
