Thread: Exitement and dissapointment

Just had to buy the DOVO Bergischer Lowe

So i got mail today
well i opened the package then the box what a beauty

then a closer look scales are warped and twisted
the toe scratces the blade when closing

well one phone call and a trip to the post office sorted things out
so now its back to waiting

OH and when ordering anything with a decorated spine: atlest in norway Ask to get the spine taped (i didnt)
Well i did add that comment on the return so i guess i got a second chanse

I really like the look of the Bergischer Lowe's, they are really beautiful bits of work!

Its annoying when that sort of thing happens, but its great you got good service so you can return it and get another one.

Its a good idea to put a drop of mineral oil under the little rubber cuff on the tang to stop any water getting in and causing rust. I suppose you could also cut it off, thereby removing the problem..! Its up to you I guess...!
