Thread: Looking for info on KING MGF. CO.

Picked this up in my favorite haunt(ye old antique shop). Cannot find any info on it though. The blade has the look and shape of a sweddish blade, but could be totally wrong, feel free to correct me. The tang, or shank as it may be, says KING MFG. CO., WARRANTED, ST.LOUIS. Horn scales,jimps on the bottom of the shank. There were a few spots of heavy rust along the spine, and on the tang, some dark staining left under that to be polished away when I get around to it. The blade measures .710 x 2.9something which I believe makes it a 5/8? Sorry still getting the hang of determining blade size.

I found some "King" companies, but nothing in St. Louis. One in Atlanta, another in Pittsburgh.
