Dovo Perlex
Hello, Frowzy:
Congratulations on your decision. Yes, the Dovo Perlex is classy and elegant in every way in person, too, from the handle to the blade. You'll love it.
I do reiterate: make sure you place the order from a vendor who offers it professionally honed. In my experience, most factory edges are not sharp enough. This way you will avoid having to send the razor out after purchase for honing, thereby paying an additional fee.
This is exciting. Good luck.
Regards,
Obie

Thanked: 735I believe the real question is WHICH one to purchase first?
And since you already took care of that, next up is the Renaissance....
As said by others, the Dovo stainless razors are very nice shavers. They can take a very keen, and comfortable edge. I always found the Renaissance to be a particularly forgiving razor to shave with, with the very rounded heel, and roundpoint. I'm not a fan of white scales, but I was surprised at how nice the Renaissance scales looked in person.
