Cool book and website
So I should be working now, but I found this really cool link to a site that maybe some people here already know about. Anyway, it's www.shaveworld.org and apparently it's some kind of collectors association for shaving and barbershop memorabilia. Sounds cool, right?
Well they have photos of some amazing sh** -- like razors from Africa and shaving mugs from the 1800s.
And there's a link there to a really cool book, apparently just published, about the hundreds of patents issued for alternative razor designs before King Gillette's 1901 safety razor patent. A few of these might be familiar to readers here, but there's lots of them that have never been seen for more than 100 years.
Anyway, here's the cover of the book, and I hope you enjoy the link as much as I did.

Robert Waits is also the author/editor of the voluminous Safety Razor Compendium. Well worth it if you are into those contraptions.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
