    Default C-Mon razors

Are C-Mon razors any good ? I see them offered on barber supply websites , and the price is around $60 U.S.

I have no experience with the current production but here is a review by a very knowledgeable straight razor shaver. Here are a couple more.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I have heard the old ones are the bees knees, but have only shaved with one (it was fantastic). I saw Cadallics for sale on a barber site and figured it was too good to be true. Purely speculation, but I'm guessing they are not NOS ones and aren't great quality. It would be awesome to hear from someone who has tried them.

Now off to read the threads Jimmy linked, in case someone has...

Now that I've read the linked threads, I'd say pay more attention to Mparkers. Language like "so called professionally pre sharpened" and "heavy coarse beard. I have found that a heavier blade works better" make me apprehensive about whatever else that person has to say.

Stay away from those. They are NOT comparable to the old C-Mons.
My C-Mon Blackie is the only razor out of my whole collection that for some reason just cuts aways those cross grown whiskers at those hard to get spots on my face without any issues. If you can score any of the old C-Mon razors you're good.

I was looking at one of those new C-Mons too... Thanks for the heads-up Max!

I love my C-mon Blackie too. I like it better than my double ducks. Maybe I just need to try the ducks again. Darn it, grow beard, grow.

I have an HF and its a great razor. It shaves with the best of them. I would doubt the new ones are of the same quality however I've never used one.
