Thread: How often does Dovo change?

Other than the occasional limited or special edition, how often does Dovo release a new razor? For example, when did the Special come out? I'm not wanting any of their razors to go away, and if they ever change the Special I would throw a fit, but perhaps if they were to think about their lowest selling razor and either upgrade or replace it with something fresh and new...heck they do it with cars every 4-10 years.

I'm not sure actually. The sellers would be the best bet to ask, guys like Lynn and Steve (blueprinciple) would probably have a good idea!

I just hope they keep making the Bergischer Lowe long enough for me to get one. I'm holding fire at the moment coz I've got a couple of others on the way at the moment (a W&B and a TI), and I figure I'd rather snap up the rare ones while they're available rather than buying the production razors...!

At some point though, I do want to get a Bergischer Lowe, they're great looking razors.

The beauty of a cutthroat razor is that the technology doesn't change. A razor made in 1910 will give as good a shave as one made in 2010. Whereas a car made in 1910....................

Dovo's Bergischer Lowe is a must for you, my London friend. I feel that is one of the most beautiful razors made. I have one, honed by Lynn, and it is a stunner, as well as one of my best shavers.

Get one as soon as you can, although being a popular razor, I don't foresee Dovo dropping the line. I mean I have no inside news; rather, it just makes sense to keep a beautiful razor line like the Bergischer Lowe going.

Oh, by the way, Stuart, have a pint for me in the local pub.
