Default chipped notch on W&B celebrated?

I just won my first ebay razor and not sure if the barber's notch is chipped or modified. Most pics I've seen of the W&B celebrated have similar length protrusions above and below the notch. But I've also seen a few where the lower part protrudes more, similar to the one I won below. Are there variations for the celebrated or is mine chipped?

Looks good to me. They aren't always identical IME.

It's pretty unlikely that a wedge would crack or chip at the spine edge. There is a lot of metal there.

Honing the toe might be a bit of a challenge though.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Wow $5! Barber's use W&B's are quite a bit wider than the one I got. I like the looks of that width more but not sure I'll like it in use, I've only shaved with a 5/8 so far.

Good point with the honing HNSB. I guess I'll have to do an additional sweeping motion to follow the toe. This will be made more challenging since I'll be using a Spyderco sharpmaker, which is only 1/2 inch wide! Don't want to buy hones just yet. Or hopefully the blade's still sharp enough that my 3 line Swaty will do.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll also have to clean up the sanding marks. Despite the crack, the vendor wrote that the pins are tight and the razor holds position.
