    Default undesireable razors?

I read a list of razors to "stay away from" or problem razors. in other words, blades one may not be happy with ect..

could someone direct me to that thread?

    thanks!

Don't make the mistake I did recently and order a Zeepk set on eBay. It's bad stuff. I tried cutting butter with the razor, had to use a hammer to get it through.

Zeepk is made from Pakistani steel, which most folks who have dealt with this metal will tell you, is very weak.

    Good luck

Welcome. Also the beginner's guide in the wiki is a good read, especially the shopping list.

Just remember, beginners are usually adviced not to shop their first blade in the ebay until they know what they're buying. A shave-ready razor from classifieds or reputable sellers is even more desirable once you factor in the very real possibility of getting a bum blade and paying $20+postage for honing it up.
