    Hello,

^^ What they said. Dwarfs (dwarves?) have shorter blades and, therefore, smaller scales. Those look like the typical original butterscotch scales too.

Thanks for the help fellas. I am new to straights and this is my first razor. I have been shaving with DE's for some time now and I am going to jump right in. Was $50 a good deal for it?

$50 is more than I would pay, but I don't think it's outrageous. Ducks are great shavers too, so you got yourself a good one to start with.
