Thread: razor emblem

anybody recognize this emblem? (see attachment) is there a site that has a list of emblems and who they belong to?

i can read sheffield on the tang but it's covered with some clear material also Dublin is on it but its hard to see through

Could it be a Bengall/Cadman & Sons?

I think its a Bengall.

Here is a Bengall I just picked up:

Looks like a covered tang....did cadman make any of those?

Other companies used a similar band on their razors, so that alone won't be enough to single out a maker (at least, I don't think it will).

Can you get a closer pic of the Emblem.Im pretty sure its a bengall.The emblem is in the shape of a tiger face,if you can see closer.

That's very true - I have seen very similar (if not exact) decoration like this on other razors.
