Thanked: 2nice little Antique store find
Got this last night at an antique mall for $30.
It was so ugly I had to have it. I love the different shape to it.
Can anyone tell me anythign about this?
Can it be repaired to take the chip out?

Rodgers are very good razors. It has black horn scales. Not sure how old it is though. Very nice razor. Hone out the chip and you have a nice shaver. You can also treat the scales to some neatsfoot oil to condition them.

Thanked: 22Nice Score
As miner says Rodgers made good razors. Given the size and location of that chip you might want to send it to someone with some experience rather than trying to do it yourself. gssixgun or kenrup here at SRP could do the job for you and get it shave ready at the same time.
Since it's marked "Sheffield" rather than "Sheffield England" we can safely say it's oldr than 1890.
Best Regards

Based on the tail, I'd say mid 1800's.
Beautiful blade, and yes, well worth saving.
