    Gentlemen,

Mark the old man's words. This is not only the best but, in my opinion, only valid answer to this question.

    Thank you, Lynn.

    Regards,
    Robin

Any of the 4 that I have..for now..lol. Especially like my Fili EPBD #14, or my Dovo faux tortoise, or my Boker, or my Hans P. Ohliger. Oh heck I just like shaving with straights!

I read good reviews of the Dovo Tortoise "Special" but the 5/8 vs 6/8 decision for my first straight was tough (only a $5 difference). I have no remorse over choosing the 6/8 (no maneuverability problems), nor do I suspect I'd regret it if I'd gone with the 5/8. The feedback of the hollow grind really helps the learning process.

Reading Robin's (BeBerlin) two dismissing posts of this thread, his first post offered people to drop by here:

Robin's Shave Of The Day | Fashion fades, only reality remains

to view a few of his favorites...I repost this shortcut for those only reading the last entries of this thread and suggest you check these out...beautiful razors Robin and a wonderful area in which to use them. Very impressive!
