    Default Bismarck

Just got a new Dovo Bismarck, spike point with bone handles, in from SRD and my is it beautiful. I love the weight of the scales, the gold etching, and I trust the shave will be fantastic. I am going away this weekend and it will definitely be coming with me and I will shave with it for the first time tomorrow night (all of my other shaving stuff was packed already and I shaved yesterday). Will report back with results when I get back. Can't wait.

They handle exceptionally well on the strops and hones IME as well... Congrats on your razor. Enjoy

I'll qualify that my experience is limited in comparison to most here, however, I purchased a Bismark 6/8 bone handle and a Prima Klang, (5/8) @ the same time from SDR a few months ago...like the Klang, but, love the Bismark...so much so that I ordered a 2nd black handle...as another comments above, to me, they handle right...just feel good/easy shaving and seem easier for me to strop properly...perhaps the weight/width assist me in that regard...

The 6/8 Bismarck is a great shaver.
