I've got one that says warranted and I've seen another one with similar stamp. I don't think anyone can say for sure what that meant back then.
You'll of course do what you want with them. Thanks for letting us see them though. Those are extremely nice scales.

The pipe logo on the tang is very reminiscent, if not plagiaristic, of the George Wostenholm pipe logo.
