I have a 7 day set of Metropol Specials. I got these as new old stock 1930-50s Solingen blades made by Goedecke & Co, some of my best shavers. 6/8 full hollows.


The Invisible Edge in the United Kingdom offers a custom TI seven day set, the sky really being the limit as to how much you wish to custom them. Blade shape, size, choice of gold lettering/etching, choice of spine work, scale material, inlays....! You can even get Pre ban ivory. Steve can commission a wide range of custom options.

Do I use them every day? Well no. I have 12 shavers and a 7 day set. I like variation in my choice of steel, size and grind. But I do use my Metropols alot of the time. I have only used 3 of them to date. The other 4 still have their original paper guards on them as you can see.
