    At first blush, I would think these are scalpels.

    They have the general shape of corn razors for the feel. Maybe they were recycled straights that were worn away an d then converted into corn razors.

    JOED is correct. They are corn razors. People used them to cut corns off of feet.

    Wow...don't know if I would even want to touch one of those...just try imagining the feet being de-corned and maybe you'll know what I mean.

    My mind was working on a mystery story centered around those intriguing razors. Now you tell me people used them to cut corn corns off their feet. For heaven's sake, is that a disappointment. Now I have to see if I can come up with another scenario for them. This is hard work. I should have become an oil executive.

    nothing to compare scale with so i assume they are full size razors. Corn razors are always quite small.

    So what are they? Reshaped razors; rough and homespun. To what purpose I do not know.
