    Default Two new razors

Hi a quick note just to show, in the best webcam pics that i can, the 2 new razors i picked up recently total cost just over a fiver enjoy :

The first one is a Swordplay Regd on the tang the stamp says :- Finest Sheffield Steel Forged And Ground In Germany

The second one is a Kismish razor on the tang the stamp reads :- Made From Sheffield Silver Steel Extra Hollow Ground

I have had a look through the database and i cannot find reference to either.

Well i did around 10 laps on the 12k with the Kismish and took it upstairs with me today for my shave. It had 20 or so laps on the leather only stop then did my bit in the bathroom with the Colonial razor for comparison.
The Colonial being freshly stropped worked as well as it did when i first received it, meaning that it being a square edge i managed a few nicks again, but still plenty sharp after stropping.
I tried the Kismish and to my surprise, and after such little attention, it shaved very well and i finished my shave with it.

As an aside the MWF i received today lathered up really well and gave a smooth shave. I could not say, however, that it was any better than the Palmolive shave soap i bought in my local supermarket, different, but no better. I think the brush made the biggest difference in my shave today as i could produce thick, creamy, and plentiful lather whenever i needed it.

Not quite so nervous this time but i think i'm going to try the Kismish again with its rounded end i'm less likely to cut myself. Also the Swordfish will be ready next time so that will come upstairs too.
