    Default New Satinedge - WOW!

    Greetz all,

I just acquired a "new" Dubl Duck Satinedge yesterday. I could not resist honing it... Ahem, then slightly dinging it against the strop carabiner and honing it again...

Anyway, have you ever had one of those shaves with a razor that far surpasses anything you have had? Well, I don't know if it's my honing and stropping that vastly improved or... WOW, did Dubl Duck know something?

I usually shave with a 1-year-old Dovo Klang. The Satinedge kicks its butt!

Granted I nicked myself twice because of the squared tip... but still, this was the easiest shave I ever had. ATG was even a breeze. I usually isn't.

That Satineddge is really a looker! And shaves well too-makes it a perfect 10 in my book. Thanks for posting the very nice photos.

I'm not partial (har-har) but the ducks are great shavers.

"I'm not partial (har-har)"... says the Duke of Ducks

That's a beautiful specimen, Dorian. Good grab!

Thanks Gentlemen!!! Good looks and definitely good shave. One issue tho' one of the scales is warped. If I'm not real careful with it, the blade bites into the scale when closing. :-(

wow, even 24 hours later this shave is holding out!

That is very common with those scales. You also need to be careful with the clear celluloid because it is very prone to rot if exposed to heat, chemicals,UV,etc.
