Thanked: 10"Royal Blue" ?
A buddy of mine just gave me the straight razor his uncle used. (who died 40yrs or so ago).
The only marking is "Royal Blue" on the tang. I think the scales are bakelite in a light yellow.
Anybody know anything of this,?
Thanks!

The only razor I've seen so far is Royal Blue Diamond - M. Sax Philadelphia, PA. Made in Germany.
If Royal Blue is the only stamping you see then it could be that one or just anything else for that matter.

I have a Royal Blue razor, it is a smallish 5/8 wedge with green plastic scales. It is one of my favorite razors to shave with. It is sweet to shave with, but not much to look at. I wish I had another one.

Thanks Charlie.. sounds like mine only really pale yellow scales. This was owned by a pure working man so nothing fancy.

I do not know anything about the manufacture, I have always thought of it a more or less generic (but great shaving) razor.
