    Default Puma

So what do you guys thinkof the Puma straights? I see they go for 300+ on E-bay. Are they that great of shavers? I was wondering about the numbers on them. What do they stand for? I was thinking about adding one to my collection. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

They are model numbers in most cases. If it is 5/8 or 6/8 it is , of course, the size of the blade. Some of my favorite razors are vintage pumas. They are getting high priced in pristine condition here lately.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Pumas and Filarmonicas are my favorite razors. I have six Pumas and six Filarmonicas.

Nothing that other good razors won't do. People like certain makes.
Puma's are one of the HOT razors at the moment. Puma steel isn't what is driving it. The name and looks is. Hope that clears it up. I'm holding out for a Purple Unobtainiam.
