Thread: carbon fiber or micarta HELP !!!

I am thinking of ordering my first custom and trying to pick between these two materials for the scales. first of all when i see razors done in these materials it is hard to tell what they look like cuz the camera cant capture the beauty of this stuff. How do these 2 materials differ from one another? I see that micarta comes in canvas and paper?? Are there alot of colors to pick from? Which one would you pick for your custom CF or Micarta? thanks
