I'm not certain about this ,but If memory serves I believe the 301 is a 5/8 round point.

Thanks, Des. That's a big help!

I just checked in my workshop desk drawer that has the blades in the queue to be fitted with scales and there is a boker red injun 301 in there and it is a 5/8 round point. You will like your 102, I have one myself and think highly of it. You'll read in here from time to time that there's razors out there that shave as good as Filarmonicas. Well IMHO this is one of them and fillies are well represented in my rotation.

Thanks for that comparison with the Filarmonicas, Stropper. I'm definitely stoked about the 102. I'm happy to hear that they have a reputation for shaving so well. I have a 4/8 round point King Cutter that is really nice shaver, but too small for my big hands. The 102 will be a welcome addition to my growing collection!

So I got my 102 in the mail last night - thanks, Holli4! It's a great shaver, and Dylan put a very nice edge on it. I got a smooth BBS shave with her this morning, and I'm now a big fan of the Injuns! My 102 has a 5/8 blade, so now I'm back to square one trying to figure out the differences between the 101/102 and other Injuns.

The only thing I've ever been able to figure out about them is, as was already mentioned, RP means it's a round point. Maybe you could try PMing Doc (he's a huge fan of Bokers) or manah (I don't know if he's into Bokers, but he seems to be quite the historian, and I know he has a bunch of the original advertisement booklets).

It took me quite some time before I got Bokers to shave with, and now I really love them as well. They all just take such darn great edges...

Thanks, Dylan. I'll send Doc a message and see if he can school me on the Injun line. Love the edge you put on mine. This morning's shave was great!

Here, in H.Boker & Co catalog, all Red Injun models.
    I never saw model 301.

Thanks, manah. I really appreciate the help! That answers my questions about the 100-series. Here's a link to an old thread about someone's 301: http://straightrazorpalace.com/buy-s...jun-301-a.html
