Thread: RAZOR INFO

Can anyone recognize the name R.HEINISCH & SONS - Newark NJ. I can't find any information in the four razor books I have. I found it in an antique store rather dirty and anything but shave ready.

It cleaned up very nicely and took a very good edge. If you have any info as to whether Heinisch was a razor maker or just a company name that handed out razors to customers, I would appreciate the info.

R.Heinisch, 1825 - 1925, The founder was Rochus Heinish. He was a surgical
instrument maker located in Newark, New Jersey.

I am still using your Mcintosh/Heather razor in my rotation. This razor is very pleasing to the eye.
