Thanked: 0Thomas Mfg Co Dayton Ohio
All,
I just wanted to share my new-to-me razor. When my dad found out that I was str8 shaving he sent me a couple of razor that he had sitting around for the last 50 yrs or so. One of them was a Thomas Mfg Co. out of Dayton Ohio. When I researched the company I found out that they moved from Springfield and operated in Dayton from 1907-1911. The blade has an etching of three presidents: Lincoln, McKinley and Garfield and below the words "The Three Presidents". Now for those that don't know, they are the three presidents that were assassinated up to that time. Now we could add Kennedy. Here are a couple of pics.
If anyone has some good ideas on how to restore this one I am all ears. I really don't want to ruin it by taking away from the etching. The scales on the other side are also broken.
I haven't been able to find out much about the other one. It is stamped with "31 The Palmer". It will be my first restore candidate.
If you have any thoughts (on these razors) I would love to hear them.

I love it!!!
I suggest Maximillion or gssixgun for restore suggestions...or you can just let them do it for you.
