    Default "CCC" Razors

Recently on ebay someone sold a razor and the only markings on it were three letter "C"s, in script, appeared to be lightly etched or stamped into the tang. Seller represented that this was a mark of Cattaraugus Cutlery Co.

Does anyone know if this is correct? There are plenty of cutlery works with a bunch of "C"s that I don't know how anyone would know for sure - Cleveland Cutlery Co., Curtin and Clark, and I'm sure there are more...

I didn't buy the CCC razor on ebay, was just curious, cause I may have run down the location of another one and wanted an idea of what it was.

    Yes. This is correct.
Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. used this trademark 1886-1963.
