Yup. Gotta wonder why the mustache and goatee combo is almost ubiquitous now-a-days if the facial-hair-bereftettes seem to dislike whiskers so much.

I've worn goatee (not a Van Dyke) for several years at SWMBO's request. She does, however, love the smooth shave on the rest of my face!

It sounds more like a paid endorsement or infomercial than a review.

This just reinforces my belief that tabloids like "The Star" are mostly garbage that aren't worthy to clean glass with.

What I'm thinking is that a woman will get "jiggy" with a real man that can take a chunk of sharp steel with no training wheels on it and get a damn fine shave.

A woman loves a man with "skills".

It smells of Vested Interest to me. I'm wondering who this guy wants to bed more. Gillete or Schick.

Agreed. Sounds like someone sold some ad space to Gillette, Schick, etc. and needs to drum up some interest. Or perhaps Mr. Ricci intends to sell these in his shop and was using this as his soapbox...

    Either way, it's complete excrement.

The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

I'm with Alembic and Johnnycake here - reads like a paid promotion for Schick.

Not sure why they're bothering with mentioning the straight, certainly wouldn't sway any straight users.

    All the best,
    Michael.

I think when they quote that they cannot compete/ compare to this...whatever word was used...they must be talking about sales. Yes, likely straight razors or single edge razors cannot compete with the sales of a newly released Schick or Gillette product.

Every SD with a keyboard and an Internet connection thinks they're a damn journalist! Sad thing is there are actually people that believe, repeat, and take as golden some of the bilge you find on the Internet.
Sure, It would be some what gratifying to tune him up with a couple hundred blasts to his in box, but that would only result in another clueless article by a clueless individual. A throw away that out shaves a str8 is utter nonsense.
