    Default Puma....????

    Vintage Puma Straight Razor, Solingen Germany, A++++ - eBay (item 120569680998 end time May-21-10 17:00:51 PDT)

    I seen this Puma listed on Ebay. And showing on one side of the tang it says Puma Sloigen and the other says Bresnick New York with 2 ducks. Is Puma and Double Duck some how related? I have a Puma 90 there are no ducks on it

    Ducks were made by a few manufacturers and then sold by Bresnicks who, as far as I've gleaned from this site, were just a barber's supplies retailers.

    Bresnick (Dbld Duck) was really just a distributor and didn't manufacture the razors. Looks like they were distributing Puma's for a while but I really don't have the time to check you like right now. Peter J. Michaels sold razors in a similar way and I have seen razors stamped Peter J. Michaels on one side and Filarmonica on the other.
