    Default a little help?

Does any recognize this? "Garantie 8000" is the only marking on the razor. Very nice flat horn(?) scales. Honed like German, very similar honing characteristics to an old Ern Crown and Sword I have. Any ideas?

According to google translate auto-detect, garantie is Romanian for Warranty. But I could swear I've seen that written on Swedish blades...

I agree with Bud. I've had that same brand in a French blade. I've had a few, in fact. The notable thing about them was that they were all very good razors and made my mental "noteworthy" list for shaving quality.

Probably it's French. I've seen this marking on the French blades.

edit: Garantie means warranty or warranted. If it were Swedish blade the word would be 'Garanti'. See how similar these words are. Anglo-Saxian languages are more or less close to each other (making us non Anglo-Saxians easier to mistake when trying to speak/write some of these languages).
