Default How to center between the scales

I have an older Henckels that wants to close on the edge of one of the scales. What is the best way to cure that problem?

if the pin is loose tapping it gently with ball peen hammer or table spoon to tighten can be the problem solver.
If that does not help, you need to repin.
If the scales are warped then you have to rescale.

Like Stefan said you have to figure out what the cause is first off...

But in general, directional pin tapping can move the blade a slight amount...

You kinda need a 4-Oz Ball-peen jewelers hammer to do this sort of precision work...
You can get a small bit of movemant just by tapping the pin on the side you want the razor to move...

I REALLY hesitate to put this info out there because I will warn you now the most likely outcome of this is a set of broken scales...
