Got a Craftsman
A Craftsman has been on my short list for a while. I found one on the 'bay and it arrived in the mail today. I'll be sending it out to get honed and light restoration work. The blade doesn't center and it's loose. You can see the chips in the blade. On the spine, there is a very nice engraving that you can see in the last picture.

Wow my dad loves anything with the words craftsman on it. If he used a SR I would have to start looking for him. Was it made by the same company that makes the tools?

IIRC they were made for Craftsman, but not by Craftsman.

Yup. There's a thread for Craftsman razors in the sub groups here at SRP. Not too many of these, though. I reckon I should have posted it there, come to think of it.

Nice razor. I've got a couple by Koeller and one by Ern with a fancy spine. There were a couple of other outfits that made them for Craftsman (Sears) but I don't recollect their names. Good .... real good shavers IME.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Who's the maker? I can't see it from the flash-glare.

I just remembered that I had a Craftsman in my collection. The blade is a full 3 inches long. I presume they are all that length. Three pins and jimps top and bottom. I like it.....JERRY
OOOPS! Pass the styptic please.
