Thanked: 84Taylors Eye Witness exciting news.
Hi everyone, been away for a while.
I have been in touch with a cutler who works at Taylors Eye Witness works. Anyway, I've lent the guy two TEW's and he is going to try and make a few. He is a top notch cutler so may be able to bring Great Britain back into the razor making trade.
I'll let you know what happens..

What is his name? If it's not a secret.
When I was in Sheffield, I heard about one knives maker, who work till now, and bought a scissors made by him.Last edited by manah; 06-05-2010 at 09:33 PM.

As much as I would love to see a return of Sheffield razors, I must say it takes more than men who know how to make razors. The tooling is quite expensive...

Great news! It would be wonderful if some old Taylor blade blanks could be located, so the steel alloy would be the same. I have two Eye Witness razors and they are both excellent shavers and very nice looking too.
