    I have shaved with two different Japanese made western style straights and they both shaved great. In Japan people like to use good steel for their tools.

    Indeed. Vintage and of very high quality and regard.

    If you can get a nice one get it and it will shave you very well.

    My current rotation in all vintage Japanese made western style straights.

    I like their grind the best. Full Hollow with a belly.
