    Default Just picked this up

    Hi guys, I picked this guy up off of fleabay
    OLD J A HENCKELS TWIN WORKS STRAIGHT RAZOR CARBON STEEL - eBay (item 270586760640 end time Jun-06-10 15:19:24 PDT)
    I want to have it cleaned up and give to my father as a gift. He has never sahved with a straight razor but he wants to get into it. He has some of his grandfather's shaving stuff. Bowl, brush etc, but no razor.
    Does this seem to be serviceable enough for a beginner to start on?

    Hopefully the rust/staining near the edge won't be a big deal, but to me it's one of those you'll have to actually clean up to know for sure. I hope it works out.
