Thanked: 0PUMA 91 High Class
Hey Gents these are twin Puma High Class razors, they look
a bit worse for wear, but seem like solid built razors.
With what you can see, can they be easily fixed ? and are
these razors traditionally good shavers ? And would this pair
make a good addition to a collection ?

They are very good shavers, at least my Puma High Class is and most other Pumas I've got are all in that category. Those could be good shavers if pro honed but even a pro restorer would have a hard time refinishing those without losing the goldwash and maybe the etch. So the collectors value suffers on that account. Just IMHO.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That's a nice gentleman's set you have there. They should hone up fine and shave well. They'll need some resto work that will most certainly destroy that pretty etch.

Nice razors and great shavers. Clean them gently with soap and water to get the looks junk off and call it finished. The looks will not effect the great shaves. If looks are important loose the gold wash.

If you want "nice and shiny" say good bye to the artwork. I have one in similar condition, she aint prettybut she sure can dance!

+1 I'd just give them a light cleaning, hone them and enjoy them.
If you don't like them, I'll do you a huge favor and take them off your hands...

I'm no expert on this. But I thought that if the blade was rusted along the bottom like that it was cell rot?
Now don't take my word for it hopefully someone else with more experience can say yes or no for sure.
But either that set sure would be pretty if cleaned up!
I'll be your friend if you give them to me?
or did that line only work in grade 2?
