    Default Difference in Bokers

Just out of curiosity... Anyone know the difference between Boker's King Kutter and their Eidelwiess?

I have one of each, and the only difference i can see is that the Eidelweiss is 6/8 and the KK is 5/8. Is that the only difference? Or are there differences in the steels.

well, i can always talk to myself....

I've noticed that i can get a wickedly sharp edge on my Eidelweiss, but the King Kutter never seems quite as sharp even with exactly the same progression.
WTHDIK though? My guess was that there wouldn't be any difference beyond the names, but there seems to be some difference in the steels. Or is it my imagination?

The size is very very rarely a relative item with name differences,,, normally that relates to a Number..

Look close at the grinds, that is where it might lay,,,

Also look through the Boker Brotherhood you might find some clues or info in there...

Not sure on any difference in the steel between the two, but I have a couple edelweiss razors and a few king cutters and they all take a great edge and are very nice shavers.

Maybe the king cutter you have is a lemon? Try to find another one and see if you have the same experience with the second one.
