    Default Four Wilkinsons

    I have the opertunity to buy a four piece set of Wilkinson razors for $80. in good condition. Are Wilkinsons a good razor? The scales are very good and the blades have only a small amount of surface rust and none on the edge.

    Yes they are very good razors. I have a set of two and a single that are outstanding shavers. One of the more high quality makers back then.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    +1 on what Jimmy said. Do it and do it now.

    4 razors in good shape at $20 each is a good buy even if they are random, no-name vintage blades, IMO. A set at the same price... yea.

    Great deal, btw, I love Wilkinson straights, they're great to hone, I like their scales...etc. I have one but it has a crack in the edge, very sad.

    I'm not so sure I think you should send me a link to where you are thinking of buying them from so I can review them better. Then after some test shaving and deliberation I could get back to you on wether I feel I made a good purchase or not.

    Just kidding of corse but yes if you buy them PLEASE post pics here.
