    Here's an SOTD photo of mine (07/05/2008): I call it "Blue Star", but there is no "formal" name or symbol associated with it. The blade is 11/16. The scales are also different; certainly insofar as they lack the "Carl Monkhouse" inlay, which yours has. Mine takes and holds an edge very well, and is a great shaver.

    You can have everything, and still not have enough.
    I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

    Yours is also a much stiffer grind. Here's one that was recently sold on ebay (in the ballpark of the marble pedestal price too):
