Default Info/review on the branded On the Edge razors

Looking at purchasing one of the One the Edge razors from Branded Genuine Straight Razors.

Just would like to know if anyone here has one and how it shaved.

I wouldn't even bother with that. Just from the look of them, these are almost certainly Paki junk razors that so many others here have tried and warned against buying.

Whatever they cost, there are much, much better razors available here and elsewhere for the same price.

Ya know, that's exactly what I was thinking too! The lack of stabilizers tip me off. Its supposed to be shoulderless, but it just doesn't look right for that type of razor. The shape of the razor just screams out Paki junk.

Well you know it ain't vintage and you know it ain't current production custom and you know all the players making quality production razors these days so what does that leave?

I've been to there store a few times, and from what I can tell they no longer carry them. The guy there does great work on knives, but not so much with the razors. I have one that was given to me, and it does shave pretty well and keeps the edge as good as most so I don't think it's a Pakistani blade but I've never tried one to compare. I think they're pretty ugly though, they almost look like a business card stuck between scales, but I wouldn't call them junk. If you like it and get a good deal then buy one. The store is quite overpriced though so I doubt you'll get one cheap, all the scales materials and stuff for restoring is twice the price of an online source.
