    Default So what if??

Lets say, for the sake of arguement that I had $250 burnin' a hole in my pocket for a new or NOS razor. Never previously owned.
Lets also say that I prefer a heavier grind, anywhere from near wedge up to say half hollow and set a size of 6/8 to 7/8, even 8/8.
What should I be looking at to get the most razor for my money?

I think Wackers are in that price range, no? Those or the Friodurs are the first that come to my mind.

I'd say Revisor, but I'm not sure if they make anything other than full hollows.

If I were looking to buy new it would be a Wacker!

NOS Dorko #856, not as thick a grind but hefty and takes some edge.
Also if you take a look at the Revisor website, they have NOS Razors of very reputable makers they might have something for you.

+1 on the Wackers, they're great razors. Very stiff blades, take a great edge and shave superbly.

    I love mine!

Hey Guys. Some how someone posted a link that others quoted and stated that it linked to a porn site. The post with the original link and those that quoted the link have been moved off the thread for Mod review. I can not review the link at my present location.

Please, if you see something that doesn't belong on SRP please report it and don't quote it. If you quote it we will need to remove your posts also.

If the Mod team finds the link is fine the posts will be returned to this thread.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Wink Wacker or Friodur

I agree with Dylan (Holli4pirating) on this . Either a Wacker or a Friodur will do just fine...both of which can be found at Shavingshop.com or other fine vendors.

Thanks for all the advice... it's well received and does not fall on deaf ears...
But, I do notice one glaring omission, and that omission is telling for me. The Hart falls solidly into the specs, but noone mentioned it. So, while I still think there is a Hart in my future, I think I'll pick up the Wacker while the gettin' is good... The Hart will be available later on.

    Thanks again!
