Default Are there any stainless Sheffields?

Reading in another thread got me wondering. I don't think that I have ever seen a stainless razor from Sheffield. Does anyone know if any exist or ever existed?

    I think - yes.
    Stainless steel came from Sheffield.

Never seen one, but that does not mean they don't exist, in particular as Glenn has recently honed one and with the press release Axex provided.

Does not say stainless but its a pain to hone, looks and feel stainless. Found nearly flawless in a bucket amongst a bunch of rusty wedges.

It was either a Mosley or maybe Morton, sorry it was only here for simple honing so I did not take a pic, the guy that owns it IIRC is a member here, so maybe he'll see this thread... I am thinking more toward the Mosley because I think I remember a "& Sons" on there

It was a 6/8 Roundnose Double Shoulder stamped Sheffield and the Maker's name on the front and stamped Stainless steel on the back...

But I do remember thinking to myself, Huh don't see that very often when I saw the Stainless Steel mark on a Sheffielder

I gave one to a friend a while back, it was either a Taylor or a Pond Works, I can't remember because I had two that were very similar that I gave away, aside from one saying it was stainless. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I probably should have kept it. Oh well, neither were in great shape so it's not much of a loss.
