    Default Ek Sel Razor

I bought this cheap a few weeks ago, more for sport than anything else. It actually looks better than the pictures, honed in minutes, and shaves like a dream. The scales are also just beautiful, some of the nicest plastic I've ever seen. But--- I've never heard of it, and it has no markings other than the "Ek Sel". Did anyone else ever stumble across one of these before?

According to "Goins' Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings" your razor may have been made by the W.R. Case Co. It shows Ek Sel as being one of Case's markings. Funny, though, that it doesn't have the case logo stamped on the reverse side.

Very good looking razor! Congratulations. I think it is American steel, too, since there are no Made in Germany markings like with some Case razors.

    Default No kiddin?

Case? I guess that explains how easy it was to hone and how nice it shaves. Thanks, guys.
