question about TI Spartacus

I've got one with that blade and bone scales from that vendor. Great shaving and beautiful razor. I picked up another virtually identical razor, also with bone scales, used, for half the price. The older one has the notched point, same etch, and a slightly different worked back. It is also the older TI silver steel and also a great shaver. Full disclosure, I love TI razors. Some guys don't like them.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

There's some fairly trustworthy praise for it here. Steve has always been good to deal with in my experience so I don't doubt the plaudits.

TI Spartacus
Hello, Dllandry:
I have the Thiers-Issard Spartacus with the white bone scales, purchased from The Invisible Edge in the UK (Thiers-Issard, UK). Steve Dempster chose a perfect one. It's a magnificent razor in every way. I love it.

Obie

Outside of some of their scale QC in the new ones I don't think I have ever heard someone complain about any of their blades. I have several TI's and though some were a bear to hone initally, they all shave great once you get them dialed in. I had some inital issues with the original Silver Wing but the more I work on it the better it gets.

Honed quite a few TI's. Never had a bad one, I think their grinds are bit stiffer than most which I like.
