Thread: Pricing for a vintage solingen

I was recently asked to do some research for a friend of mine who does not have access to a computer, but is interested in selling a valuable razor he has had for some time. The razor in question is a pre WWII Solingen Crown and Sword, with a molded birth of venus/venus on the halfshell on the handle. Around half a decade ago it was appraised at about $5000 give or take. Any tips on an accurate price, its desirability, and the proper venue for selling it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
